Selected as the winner of the LEGO Moments in Space contest on LEGO Ideas in early 2018, Mark Smiley's winning design became the first ever Gift with Purchase set to be designed by a LEGO fan!

Original vs. Final Model
During the final development of the model, the team responsible for developing this Gift with Purchase set held meetings to get Mark's input to the final model and explain some of the constraints that exist when designing official LEGO models. This culminated in Mark creating this comparison video that explains the differences between his original submission and the final production model.
